Zebra Canyon

What’s the story?

This shot brings a story I’m not proud of. It was a stormy day around Escalante, Utah. A flash-flood warning was issued until 4.30pm. I stayed in my car while the clouds disappeared and decided to set off for the canyon when the warning time expired. I got to the Canyon and was able to take the picture of those unique layers. When I got out, the sky had changed, and a river had appeared from one of the dry riverbeds I had crossed a few minutes before. I made it to the other-side, but it served me a lesson.
