Burning Sky

What’s the story?

Photography is all about planning really, and a bit of luck. I had a picture in mind, but trying to be everywhere and seeing everything in Death Valley NP, I was a bit behind schedule to catch the sunset. I ended up having to sprint up sand dunes by 50°C before the colourful sky turned dull. Believe me you don’t want to do that. In the end I had enough time to catch that heart-like shaped cloud, or it could be the blow of an angry dragon.
